BizBloqs United Kingdom

Warehouse management software for UK operations

BizBloqs directs and records every movement of stock in your warehouse: where a pallet goes, which location to pick from, in what sequence, confirmed by scan. It runs in the cloud, it is configured rather than programmed, and it connects to the systems a UK operation already runs.

    Still drawing up a shortlist?

If you are still drawing up a shortlist rather than choosing a supplier, start with the comparison of warehouse management systems in the UK instead — it sets out the categories, what each suits, and where we fit among them.

What it does on the floor

Receiving against the purchase order, with shortages and damages flagged at the dock rather than at month end. Directed putaway, where the system chooses the location on rules rather than leaving it to whoever is on shift. Replenishment before pick faces run dry. Picking — single, batch, zone or wave — with a routed path and scan verification on every line. Packing and shipping, with carton logic, carrier selection and labels generated from the order rather than retyped.

Underneath all of it sits location-level stock with batch, serial and expiry traceability, and cycle counting that runs while the warehouse keeps working.

Where the line sits with your ERP

Your ERP or accounting package holds the total per item and handles valuation, purchasing and reordering. Those are total-level questions and they stay where they are. We hold the detail underneath that total — location, batch, condition, what is committed and what is genuinely available.

There is one stock figure in the business, not two.

And for plenty of UK operations, the stock module you already have is enough. If your warehouse has room, your people know where everything is, and a new starter is productive in days, you are not the operation this is built for. That is the honest answer rather than a courtesy.

It tips when people start searching. When a new hire needs weeks rather than days. When goods go wherever there is space because there is nowhere else. At that point the operation can no longer be held in anyone's head, regardless of how many sites or channels you have.

    Built for UK operations specifically

Support in your working day. Our teams in the Netherlands and the Philippines cover UK hours from morning to evening, so a question at four in the afternoon is answered the same day rather than the next one.

Data in Europe. We are a Dutch vendor and data stays under European law. For some operations that is irrelevant; for others, particularly in the public sector and regulated retail, it is a purchasing constraint.

A UK operation running it today: KTC in Wednesbury, with over 30,000 pallet locations and BizBloqs integrated with their Access ERP. How that phased roll-out went is in the KTC case study.

    Configured, not constructed

The single largest variable in what a system costs you after go-live is whether your process changes are configuration or development.

Configuration means describing your rules in a system built to receive them: an afternoon, by someone who understands your operation. Development means changing the system so it can hold your rules: a release window, behind somebody else's roadmap.

Ask every supplier the same question. When your process changes next spring, who has to be involved, and how long does the change take? If the answer is a development ticket, you have bought a software project rather than a service.

    Three tiers

SME — one warehouse, one operation. Scan-driven receiving, putaway, picking and packing, real-time stock, and up to three standard integrations. Most UK implementations run here.

SME+ — everything in SME, plus order orchestration across sites and channels, custom integrations alongside the standard library, and paid modules where the operation needs them. For several sales channels or more than one warehouse.

Enterprise — everything in SME+, plus formal integration and governance for multi-site, multi-entity operations. 3PL activity billing and materials-handling integration are priced separately.

    What happens next

A demo is half an hour and we walk your own flow — inbound, storage, picking, shipping, returns — and tell you honestly what would change and what would not. If the answer is that your current setup is fine, we will say so.

Questions we get from the United Kingdom

    Do you have UK customers?
Our installed base is concentrated in Europe, where we run over 200 warehouse operations. We are open about that: if you need an UK reference site today, we are not the safest choice. What we can show you is the same platform running the same processes your operation runs, and a scoped implementation you can judge before you commit.
    Are you priced in GBP?
Yes. Figures on this site convert from euro at the European Central Bank reference rate, and we quote in GBP (£) so you are not carrying the exchange rate on every seat.
    How long does implementation take?
We scope in implementation days of effort, not calendar promises. A straightforward SME warehouse is three days of scoped implementation, SME+ around twelve, and enterprise scope runs twenty days and up. What that becomes on your calendar depends on your availability as much as ours.
Who do we talk to during the project?
We answer 08:00 to 18:00 UK time, GMT / BST. You reach a person inside your own working day, not a ticket queue that wakes up when you go home.
